Sam Gilbey has been drawing for just as long as he can remember, and has illustrated professionally since 2004.
His unique illustrations have appeared in numerous publications, both on and offline all over the globe, from magazines such as Computer Arts and Official Playstation Magazine, to several books, exhibitions, comics, and also on television and in a movie test shoot. His observational, colourful and distinct painterly style often draws upon, and celebrates popular culture, whether that’s movies, videogames, and/or the occassional large robot. If for some reason you wanted sum his style up in two words, ‘painted comics’ might just cover it.
Sam lives north of London in a town called Bedford with his fiancée and videogame consoles.
