Derek Stenning has created a series of illustrations titled, Entartete Kunst. The title is drawn from the German term meaning “Degenerate Art.” Entartete Kunst, a term developed by Nazi theorists, was used to describe most modern art, which they felt was corruptive in nature and reflected Judeo-Bolshivist leanings. Stenning states, “I find these discriminating ideas absurd, but I have adopted the Judeo-Bolshevist theme in this work (the cosmonauts, the hexagram etc.) as a starting point to create these images.”
You may visit his blog here. Stenning also created some Entartete Kunst designs for Endeavor snowboards.
