Kim Asendorf is an amazingly talented conceptual and digital artist. This series of pixel sorted images take digitize landscape photographs and, I’m assuming using specialized software, sorts the pixels. The final image is taken by the artist at some point during (maybe in the middle of) the process. To see how this works, you can check out an animated GIF of the process here.
