Thomas Neulinger is an Austrian graphic designer and illustrator. Here are 5 of his best pieces that he’s recent put up on his blog. Sadly, these are the only 5 that he’s posted!

Mmm. Beer. Today’s a holiday in the US and nothing goes better with holidays (national or otherwise) than beer. Here are 60 vintage beer labels from various places. Thor Kampfer, of USBeerlabels, is a beer label collector (one of the largest collections in the world) and scanned several of these; which, he sells. They run cheap ($2-$8 usually) and would make some great studio art. Happy Monday!

We’re still looking for a few good folks that would like to contribute to Unstage! If you’re into photography, architecture, illustration, fashion, or even music and film, drop us a note at unstage at gmail dot com and let us know! I’ve also been considering doing a monthly playlist…..so if you’re interested in recommending bands or artists for that, hit me up!
Some work from Noumeda Carbone, who spends his time between Florence and Paris. Appropriately, Carbone was recently shown in Lürzers Archive 200 Best Illustrators worldwide 09/10 and has seen both commercial and private sell success. Stunning stuff.
You can see more of his work here (his personal site) and here (his Dripbook portfolio.)

Behold the work of Spanish graphic designer and all-around rad artist Valero Duval. His work borders on the kinda-sorta-too-amazing-for-words side of things (and some would probably say it’s unclassifiable.) Some of his work is totally hand-drawn and some of it is a mishmash of collage and drawing involving machines, people, animals, geometrical things or all of the above. You can check out tons of his creations at his site. He even sells a few prints in a store on Etsy.

Some poster design work from the Godfather of Japanese graphic design, Yusaku Kamekura. While Kamekura passed away in 1997 (at the age of 82) his work still embodies the classic post-war Japanese design sensibilities, right as Japan was transitioning into an international export powerhouse for, among other things, optics and consumer goods. Interestingly enough, Kamekura also wrote a biography on Paul Rand in 1959, right as Rand was becoming an American legend in his own right. For a full bio, you can check out this rather interesting blog dedicated to him and his work.

Check these out! Cheeming Boey is Californian, by way of Malaysia, who draws things on cups. Now, granted, he can also draw stuff on paper; however, anyone can do that! What makes these special is not that he does them, but that he’s done so many different ones (over 300). He sells them in places like Etsy for a nice side income (check them out!) You’ll see 40 of his best after the cut (and for an added dose of fun check out the video at the very bottom after the images.) You can read a rather great bio on him here (from which I learned that his father raised prized songbirds. Cool!)
