Maxim Chelak is a young photographer from Moscow, Russia. I didn’t get a chance to talk to him about his background; however, I know that he’s only been taking photographs for around 4 – 5 years. His work would indicate otherwise. Hopefully you’ll agree – his work is absolutely stunning.
Maxim, I think you’ve found your calling. He sells prints and while I am not the best appraiser of future worth, I’d say that these are a steal, regardless. You can see his amazing chock-full-o-goodness site here and his Flickr page here. More after the break…

Ben Thomas for Beautiful Decay
Ben Thomas’s work has been seen in countless London fashion magazines and has graced the editorial pages of publications like Computer Arts, M8, MIXMAG, and Re-Edit. His background is unique in that he is a rather exceptional digital artist and studio photographer; however, he rarely blends the two (the Lily Allen photo would be an exception.) Outside of his busy illustration and photography work, he runs a rather awesome online store at KneeDeepInSleep.com where he hawks a plethora of merch (mainly prints and fantastically creative T-shirts) featuring his artwork to the masses. If you’re in the UK and in need of some badass wall art, do check his site out. He covers shipping! Otherwise, here is some of his more recent work. The photo, after the cut, of Lily Allen is hot off the presses and as far as we know and Unstage early peek. You can find his extensive design portfolio here.

Brian Ulrich (born 1971 in Northport, NY) is an American photographer, based in Chicago. His photographs that portray consumer culture are in major collections from the Museum of Fine Arts Houston, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Cleveland Museum of Art, the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, and the Museum of Contemporary Photography. While he does photography a wide array of subjects and places, these photographs (which I find particularly amazing) are from an ongoing series (titled Dark Stores and part of a larger body of work titled Copia) that documents the abandoned store fronts of America. Considering the events of the last 2 years, they’re especially poignant. You can check out his website here and his incredibly interesting blog here.

Work from LaRoache Brothers photography, the duo of Laurence Edney and Wolfgang Mustain. You can see their site here. Both photographers are based out of London and while they do, primarily, fashion work, they do a fair amount of editorial work as well.
Carl William W. Heindl”s style of photography reflects his inner nature:spontaneous, borderless and multidisciplinary. Forever visual, Carl holds a degree in graphic design and is also an avid painter. Self-taught and self-motivated, he favours practice and passion over technology; harkening back to a more romantic era of the art. Though he cut his teeth with film photography, Carl now prefers to work in the instantly-gratifying digital realm. He currently resides in Toronto, Canada.
